Careers

Seeking a Postdoctoral Researcher or Research Associate [DSSB-1709]

Research field

The RIKEN Center for Life Science Technologies (CLST) has two core purposes. One is to develop key technologies for breakthroughs in the medical and pharmaceutical applications of life science. The other is to conduct groundbreaking research and development for the next-generation life sciences.

The Division of Structural and Synthetic Biology (DSSB) of CLST is developing technologies for visualization of structures of functioning biomolecules, and those for synthesis of molecules controlling such bio-functions.

The Structural Bioinformatics Team is developing methods for protein structure prediction and applying design principles to create proteins with novel architectures, new biological functions or effective therapeutics. We are exploring new avenues to facilitate the structure determination from X-ray or cryo-EM data. We are also developing and applying computational methods to discover new inhibitors for various drug targets.

We are seeking a researcher to join RIKEN Pioneering Project : Dynamic Structural Biology by Integrating
Physics, Chemistry, and Computational Science Research.
