On November 4, Thursday, the RIKEN Wako campus was honored by the visit of a distinguished delegation from the Republic of Lithuania of seven government officials, including H.E. Mr. Audronius Azubalis, Minister of Foreign Affairs and the Hon. Mr. Dainius Kamaitis, Lithuanian Ambassador to Japan, and 12 others from Lithuanian laser technology corporations.

The group met with RIKEN executives to discuss RIKEN's technology transfer initiatives, the RIKEN venture business program, and the management of RIKEN's intellectual property rights. These discussions were followed by a tour of the Wako campus and visits to six laboratories in ASI, BSI, and the VCAD program.
