AICS to hold 5th international symposium

On December 8 and 9, the RIKEN Advanced Institute for Computational Science in Kobe will hold its fifth international symposium. The aim of the symposium is to present current research achievements by AICS, and provide opportunities for fruitful discussions by all the participants.

The sessions of this year's symposium explore how supercomputers are being used in computational sciences, looking at areas including material science, particle simulations, life science, social science, and industrial applications.

The symposium is open to the public and registration will be open until November 30.
