Our main interest is to analyze human genome data and to develop statistical genetics methods. So far we have been mainly focusing on genome-wide association study (GWAS) using SNP array data, and found many susceptible genes for human complex diseases and also genetic loci affecting human traits such as laboratory data or body weight using Biobank Japan data. We have also participated in many international genetic collaborative studies including MEGASTROKE.
