Expectations for the realization of clean energy society to use the hydrogen in the fuel is growing. We are developing new filters which selectively stabilize the hydrogen in gas for the safe use of hydrogen energy. We investigate synthesis methods of metal nanoparticles whose size and composition are controlled, and new measurement methods of reactivity of the metal nanoparticles with the hydrogen. With these methods, we will realize high performance and high reliability hydrogen filters.
