Fluctuation and diversity of the status of each single cell plays essential roles in development, immune response, oncogenesis and drug resistance. We all know the importance of analyzing at single cell level, however, it had been extremely difficult in terms of technical issues.
This project aims to accelerate developments and applications of comprehensive analysis at single cell level, utilizing RIKEN’s comprehensive strength: wide variety of different Single Cell Analysis Technologies (MS, Gene Expression Analysis, Imaging, Bioinformatics, and Modeling). It will lead to provide a basic structure for medical innovation and drug discovery for the next generation.
