| Research Field | This team develops high-resolution electron interference microscope technology and high-resolution phase detection technology using the brightest electron source in the world. It uses these technologies simultaneously applies to observe and elucidate quantum phenomena in collaboration with the other three teams in the group. This team is going to be in charge of the application experiments of the "FIRST-Tonomura Project", a new governmental project to develop an atomic-resolution holography electron microscope, which starts in March 2010 and is supported by the supplemental budget. Experimental researchers who are motivated to conduct researche and are skilled in electron microscopy are encouraged to apply. |

| Qualification |
The candidate should possess a doctoral degree in a related field at the start of employment.
Those who are within five years after receiving of degree will be, in principle, employed as a post doctoral researcher. Research experience using transmission electron microscopes is desired. |

| Salary and benefits |
Full-time position with an annually renewable contract based on the evaluation up to the end of the project. Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. Commuting and housing allowances will be provided. Social insurance will be applied. Mandatory membership in the RIKEN Mutual Benefit Society (RIKEN Kyosaikai). Days off includes public holidays, New Year's holidays (Dec. 29 - Jan 3), and RIKEN Foundation Day.
