Integrated Collaborative Research Program with Industry

Program Director
Yoshiharu DOI (D.Eng.)
Under the Integrated Collaborative Research Program, RIKEN and industry work together to conduct research and development. Companies submit proposals for fixed-term research projects, and their employees then come to RIKEN to work on these projects as team leaders. Through this unique program, RIKEN is strengthening its links with industry and society, and contributing to new industrial technology in Japan.
This program began in April 2004, and eight projects are now run by the RIKEN Center for Intellectual Property Strategies (CIPS).
