Research Areas

By combining neuroscientific insights from RIKEN Brain Science Institute (BSI) with optical techniques from Olympus, the RIKEN BSI-OLYMPUS Collaboration Center (BOCC) will produce new bio-imaging technologies that will enhance research efforts. Our three functions are to provide researchers the technologies and the relevant equipment, to develop the technological innovation, and to share those technologies with many researchers.
