The swift and accurate processing of visual information is one of the keys to a safe and comfortable life. The Recognition and Judgment Unit tries to reveal the circuit mechanisms of such information processing by analyzing the activity of populations of neurons using two-photon microscopy. The resultant knowledge is expected to help develop new technologies that will improve the levels of safety and comfort in our lives.
- Investigating the visual information processing
- Elucidating population activity of neurons with two-photon microscopy and multiunit recording electrodes
