Research Areas

Main aims of Research group for genotyping are the creation of large-scale genetic information and the development of innovative technology for the realization of Personalized Medicine. For these aims, Laboratory for Genotyping Development is working on the genotyping of genome-wide association studies for common diseases, innovation of new genotyping method for genetic variation, and the application of our genotyping method for clinical use. Laboratory for Biomarker Development is working on the whole-genome sequencing using next generation sequencer and the development of biomarkers for human diseases by proteomics analysis.
