患者由来の細胞から直接作製されたiPS細胞を用いることで、病態モデルを容易かつ効果的に作製でき、従来は成し遂げられなかった新規治療法の創出を目指して、研究を実施しています。特に理研細胞バンクが提供している各種疾患特異的iPS細胞の高次特性(分化能、ゲノム)解析とゲノム編集技術等を利用した加工ヒトiPS細胞(変異修復株、変異導入株、レポーター導入株)の作製を行っています。
