研究概要
現在日本を含む世界中の社会では大きな変化が進行しつつあります。しかし科学の研究はこの非常に速い変化に対応しきれていない面があります。当研究室では変化していく社会からの要請に応えるために脳の意思決定の研究を軸として、神経経済学、行動経済学、心理学などの個人を中心とした意思決定の分野とビッグデータなどを利用した集団の行動を対象とした意思決定の分野を統合した研究を行なっています。これにより社会の中における人間についての科学的な理解を促しその幸福(Well-Being)を促進することを目指しています。この様な人間の理解は時代を経ても変わらないものであり、正しい人間の理解を通じて急変していく社会において持続可能な社会システムの設計に寄与することが期待されます。この様なチャレンジングではありますが、基礎科学としても応用科学としても社会において重要な価値を創出していく研究を進めています。
