研究概要

XU Yong (Ph.D.)

理論物性物理学、計算物質科学の研究を行います。主たる研究の興味は、第一原理電子状態計算の方法によって異常量子効果、新奇物性を理解、予言することにあります。特に層状物質系、表面界面系などの低次元系や非自明な位相幾何学的秩序を持つ系の電子的、熱的、光学的、磁気的性質の研究を行い、低散逸のエレクトロニクス、高性能熱電材料、高効率太陽電池などの高機能物質の設計を目指します。メゾスケールでの電子伝導、熱伝導、熱起電力などの輸送現象を取り扱う方法論の開発にも取り組みます。
