Nuclear reaction cross section data on Long-Lived Fission Products (LLFP) from nuclear reactor will be obtained by means of secondary beams from the BigRIPS fragment separator in RIBF. This team has charges of measurement of the deuteron and proton induced reaction on LLFP with inverse kinematics and also of determination of cross section of the neutron induced reaction on LLFP.
Same kind of projects which plan to measure variety of the reactions on LLFP are formed not only by the teams in RIKEN but groups from several institutes and universities.
This team also acts as the core and hub of the collaboration.
