Deposition and distribution of bioresources suspended due to coronavirus

The RIKEN BioResource Research Center, one of the world’s leading repositories of bioresources for use by researchers around the world, has suspended services for the deposition and distribution of its bioresources following the declaration of a state of emergency by the Japanese government and the decision by RIKEN that all personnel should work from home. Services were originally planned to restart on May 10, but regrettably the state of emergency will remain in place until May 31. Services are currently planned to resume after June 7, but this may change depending on future developments. For more information see the notice on the BRC website.
