On June 16 and 17, an international symposium focusing on immune homeostasis and diseases will be held in Yokohama, Japan, hosted by the RIKEN Integrative Medical Sciences Center and the Japan Society of Immunology. At the symposium, 18 invited researchers will introduce cutting-edge research in four major areas: cancer immunology, microbiota and fecal bacteriotherapy, genome and epigenome, and cell death and inflammation.

The symposium, which has been held since 2005, is organized based on the belief that in this rapidly advancing era of science, direct interaction between people is one of the most effective ways to spread knowledge and inspire researchers to explore new directions. The event is free to all participants, and online registration will be open until June 3.
