The RIKEN Center for Computational Science (R-CCS) offers an internship program for graduate students (PhD level) from universities and research institutions overseas. This program aims to train researchers in HPC (high-performance computing) technologies and computational science. Interns will have the opportunity to participate in cutting-edge computational science R&D, join R-CCS research teams, and deepen their understanding of computational science technologies.

Program Period	April 14, 2026 (Tuesday) – March 18, 2027 (Thursday) Within the period agreed upon between the applicant and the host research team/unit (up to 85 days)
Eligibility	Graduate students (PhD level) Applicants must be from universities where the head or representative of their institution can issue an official letter of recommendation. Students should have fundamental knowledge in computational science and ideally be engaged in a specific research area at the PhD level.

Expenses and Allowances	Commuting costs, accommodation, travel expenses, and internship allowance will be paid.
