The Commendation for Science and Technology by the Minister of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology
The award ceremony for "The Commendation for Science and Technology" to honor those who have made noteworthy contributions either to the research and development of science and technology, or to advancing the understanding of science, was held at the Keio Plaza Hotel Tokyo on April 13, 2010. Thirteen researchers from RIKEN received the award.
After the award ceremony, the winners visited the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology (MEXT).
