RIKEN signs research agreement with venture firm and Russian company
On December 16, RIKEN signed a joint research agreement with EIDOS-Medicine, LLC, a Russian manufacturer of medical devices, and K.K. DNAFORM, a RIKEN venture, with the aim to commercialize portable technology for diagnosing infectious diseases. On April 24, the three parties came together again to sign a joint research agreement to accelerate the development. And then, following the Japanese Russian Summit on April 27, they met again at the Pashkov House in Moscow to sign an agreement making the project part of the Japan-Russia Economic Cooperation program adopted at the Summit by the leaders with the goal to strengthen cooperation between the two countries.
