RIKEN Center for Biosystems Dynamics Research RIKEN BDR-Otsuka Pharmaceutical Collaboration Center

The RIKEN BDR -Otsuka Collaboration Center was established with the aim to integrate BDR’s strength in creative and pioneering research in developmental biology and regenerative medicine with Otsuka Pharmaceutical’s forte in developing medicines and health-related products to investigate disease mechanisms and discover new drugs and therapeutic applications. The purpose of the RIKEN BDR -Otsuka Collaboration Center is not only to make new discoveries through such collaborative research projects, but also to train the next generation of scientists by hosting joint seminars and offering opportunities for personnel exchange.
