Research Summary

KAWAMURA Minoru

Our team studies quantum transport phenomena in electron systems in solids. In particular, we focus on thin-film crystals and heterostructures of materials with strong spin-orbit interaction, and conduct experimental studies on quantum transport phenomena in which electron correlation and geometric phase play important roles. Through these studies, we aim to discover new quantum phenomena that expand our understanding of condensed matter physics and open the door to new technologies by pioneering their application to electronics and spintronics functions.
