The seventh issue of QBiTs, the quarterly newsletter of the RIKEN Quantitative Biology Center was just released. The newsletter is intended to emphasize the science carried out at QBiC, which specializes in quantitative biology.
The latest issue includes an interview with Professor Masashi Kimura of the Nihon University of Art on his work in the field of science illustration, an introduction to a recent paper announcing a new method for evaluating stem cells, and an introduction to the Frey Initiative Research Unit. The issue also has stories about two sports, baseball and ice hockey.
