Luxembourgian Minister of Health visits RIKEN's Yokohama Branch

On October 4, a delegation led by Lydia Mutsch, Luxembourg’s Minister of Health, visited the RIKEN Yokohama Branch.

After a greeting and briefing on RIKEN provided by Executive Director Shigeo Koyasu , the delegation exchanged opinions with RIKEN’s representatives regarding organizational management. The minister expressed her expectations for the further development of research collaborations among RIKEN and Luxembourgian research institutions.

Following the briefing, the delegation joined the FNR (Luxembourg National Research Fund) - RIKEN Joint Symposium. H.E. Mrs. Mutsch gave a special greeting in which she stressed the importance of the further development of collaboration in the life sciences for both countries.

At the Symposium, scientists mainly from the RIKEN Center for Integrative Medical Sciences (IMS), Luxembourg Institute of Health, and Luxembourg Center for Systems Biomedicine in University of Luxembourg gave presentations and discussed the latest research trends in the field of immunology.
