Notice on the Passing of Former Statutory Supervisor Toshihiko Hoshino

We are deeply saddened to announce that former RIKEN Statutory Supervisor Toshihiko Hoshino passed away on November 3, and extend our deepest condolences. Mr. Hoshino assumed the position of Statutory Supervisor in July 2024. During his tenure, he worked diligently to ensure the proper and smooth operation of RIKEN’s affairs. We would like to express our deepest respect for Mr. Hoshino for his work and offer our sincere condolences, praying for his eternal rest.
