RIKEN Center for Advanced Intelligence Project Privacy and Social System Team
Team Leader: Hiroshi Nakagawa (D.Eng.)
We analyze the problems caused by the advancing technologies of artificial intelligence and machine learning and then seek the solution for these problems. We need to improve legal systems, social frameworks, industrial structures and information technologies to cope with the problems. Our stance is that the problems caused by artificial intelligence should be solved by artificial intelligence technologies because the complexity of these problems is far beyond human intellectual abilities. We especially focus on the anonymization techniques for private data of individual person among various types of big data because it has strong effect of our social lives.
