RIKEN Center for Sustainable Resource Science Drug Discovery Chemical Bank Unit

Our unit takes the role of chemical bank in DMP; we store compounds synthesized or purchased in the process of exploration and structure optimization of drugs and supply them for the purpose of validation of biological activity, toxicity or safety. In cooperation with Chemical Resource Development Research Unit, we also construct and provide a chemical library for drug-discovery screening to the Seed Compounds Exploratory Unit for Drug Discovery Platform and other researchers. We have constructed the database for management of chemical library to provide compounds efficiently.
