RIKEN Center for Advanced Photonics Image Processing Research Team
Team Director: Hideo Yokota (D.Eng.)
Research Summary

The team are devoted to develop new and efficient image processing techniques, imaging systems, and their applications to information engineering, biology, and medical science. In particularly, we are working on constructing the virtual cell model (live cell model) and 4D cell communication platform through imaging, modeling, and quantification of living cells. The model consists of transport phenomena as well as organelles. The platform is equipped with the basic and advanced image processing, pattern recognition, CG, and CAD methods.
