Research Summary

Using the superconducting RI-beam separator BigRIPS at the RIKEN RI Beam Factory (RIBF), we are conducting research to produce beams of long-lived fission products (LLFPs) and minor actinides (MAs), and to collect nuclear transmutation data from reactions between these RI beams and either a proton or a deuteron. Additionally, we are developing methods to achieve high-purity separation of heavy-element RI beams and identify the species of RI beams. Moreover, to significantly enhance research efficiency, accuracy, and reliability, we are constructing advanced software-based automation platforms that can automatically execute complex experimental procedures.
