RIKEN researchers named as international members of the NAS
The National Academy of Sciences of the United States recently named two RIKEN researchers among the 26 international members it selected this year. The two are Kazuo Shinozaki, Senior Advisor to and former Director of the Center for Sustainable Resource Science, and Naoto Nagaosa, Deputy Director of the Center for Emergent Matter Science. Memberships, including International memberships, are given to researchers “in recognition of their distinguished and continuing achievements in original research.” For the official announcement by the NAS, see the announcement on their website.
