Research Summary
The Engineering Team was established in April, 2013, aiming to provide the top-quality research equipment and environment to all SACLA users. Not only maintaining the facility for the experiment devices (hard or soft) to work normally at all times, the team members collaborate with the researchers to develop new devices and to build new infrastructures. The technology used are in the variety of fields such as optics, machinery, electrics, network, storage, software, and so on, covering a wide range from a legacy technology to an advanced technology. The team is also responsible for the construction ,maintenance, and management of various facilities built (will be built) at RIKEN SPring-8 Center (RSC), and works for the RSC facilities to operate 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, normally.
