Research Summary
We are conducting the research and development of beam diagnostic instruments for accurate and stable measurements of high-energy electron beams in the X-ray free-electron laser facility, SACLA, and the large synchrotron radiation facility, SPring-8. We are also engaged in the research on beam diagnostic schemes and the development of diagnostic instruments for SPring-8-II, which is the upgrade project of SPring-8. We are studying the sensor part to capture the beam signal, high-speed readout electronics to process the obtained signal, and analysis methods to evaluate the physical quantity of the beam.
