Takahiro Inagaki

The Accelerator Hardware Development Group conducts research and development of the components consists of the electron accelerators and photon sources to maintain stable operation and improve the performance of SACLA and SPring-8. We promote the upgrade project, SPring-8-II, which will reduce the emittance of stored electron beams and increase the brightness of synchrotron radiation by nearly two orders of magnitude. In addition, we will conduct research and development of accelerator and light source components to realize the next-generation high-brilliance, high-repetition X-ray free-electron laser.
