RIKEN-USM Joint Research Center

RIKEN and the University of Sains Malaysia (USM) concluded an agreement to establish the USM-RIKEN International Center for Aging Science (URICAS) in February 2015, and have been holding joint symposia and promoting collaborations and exchanges of young researchers and technology ever since.

The URICAS joint center focuses on bringing together research from the two institutes in the area of aging science as a means to contribute to the global society and to strengthen ties between the two institutes through collaborative research and personnel exchanges.
