研究概要
統計力学の方法論を基盤に、現代的な機械学習の枠組みの中で、学習・推論・生成といった様々な過程の本質的な理解を目指します。特に、近似推論やサンプリングの効率化に資する新たな理論とアルゴリズムを、平衡統計力学および動力学的視点から構築することで、機械学習の根幹を支える数理の深化と発展に貢献します。さらに、物理と機械学習の融合領域における知の体系化を通じて、多様な学術分野との連携や、機械学習のより普遍的な理解へとつなげていくことを目指します。
